Two identical News Maps will be sent directly to your school every month to let you display both sides of the poster at the same time.
On one side of the wall map is an in-depth look at a country currently in the news. This side features a detailed map of that country along with an insightful essay about why that country is in the news.
On the other side, students can read short summaries of 16 different countries in the news, and see them plotted on a stunning world map projection. A different projection is used and explained each month.
The eight-page teacher's guide provides background information about the country and its history, four reproducible exercises, and newspaper activities.
